My two favorite people in the world accompanied grandma to visit Babu. They were very disappointed to report that someone had broken off not one, but three pieces of the babushka. What can I say kids...some people think cow tipping is fun. But seriously folks, these cows are a fundraiser for the new children's hospital. Someone you know may need that hospital one day and the more money that Cow Parade Madison can raise, the more we will be able to lend support to this new facility. Let's pass the word on that vandalizing the cows is not a good idea!

So sorry to hear that your cow has been damaged.
While it's fun watching the different reactions people have to the various cows, it's important for all to remember that they are delicate works of art.
Touch them, photograph them, smile, laugh and joke about them – but remember that the artist put a lot of time and effort into their creation, and when someone breaks or otherwise damages them, it means many others won’t get the chance to enjoy them as well.
And, as you pointed out, they will ultimately be auctioned off for charity and the more money raised the better.
